Speaking slowly and clearly…

Tip from The Rookie: When grandchild replies “I Don’t WANT” for the third time in a discussion, he is actually saying “One of us has a comprehension problem. And it ain’t me.”  :-)

The Force is strong in this one…

The Rookie has seen movies and TV commercials about the Force, but has first-hand knowledge of grandchildren who have apparently harnessed the Force to self-propel their high chairs without wheels :-)

Using the Force

Ho, ho, ho, and be Merry!

Tip from The Rookie: When it’s just you and grandchild in the house, and you hear the printer start up from the bathroom, it’s a signal to Pick Up The Pace :-)

Catching the roll…

The Rookie brought home some large “throwed rolls”… and saw a grandchild hangin’ on to a big ol’ dinner roll like a running back who has to run stadiums if he fumbles the ball :-)

College before kindergarden?

May 14th, 2012Posted by TheRookie

The Rookie wonders if grandchildren can pick up college credit before entering kindergarden at the Lego Lab :-)

Surge in the inventory…

May 12th, 2012Posted by TheRookie

The Rookie found that leaving a stepladder out when the grandchildren show up means the ladder and everything accessible from the top step are new additions to the toy inventory :-)
