The Rookie dragged the grandsons off their screens on a rainy Saturday to introduce some old school card gaming. If The Rookie’s grandmother was still around and walked in the room to this scene, how would she have responded? Some possibilities are:
- Who’s been raising these children? Y’all were playing these games with me when you were 5 and 6 years old.
- Who got BlackJack?
- Scoot over and deal me in

P.S. Later on, The Rookie and #2 are playing 3-card poker heads up when #2 shoves all in on the 4th deal. The Rookie has a high pair and calls to see what brought that on. #2 flips up 3 Aces and reaches for the chips. 3 of a kind was not even covered in the tutorial. :-)
